Our first Business After Hours was held on 6th February at the amazing Riding for the Disabled site on Culloden Rd, Marsfield. It's an extraordinary patch of peace and tranquillity right in the middle of the region. They have seven beautiful horses, and we were lucky enough to meet Goose and Prince. They are so wonderfully gentle and it was amazing to hear how they are trained to listen and obey the handler, rather than the rider, as is normal for most trained horses. Both Goose and Prince loved the attention and pats. And we were able to sneak them a few carrots, which they absolutely adored!

We learnt how the Riding for the Disabled team reduce fear and create confidence, and the difference that can make to lives. It was great to enhance our sense of community through such a marvellous organisation.
